The Aletsch region with its three resorts of Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp is one of the best Ski areas in the Alps. With over 100km of runs and 35 lifts there is a wide variety of skiing from beginners to experienced. All this can be reached in 10 minutes with the local lift to Riederalp. For children there is an excellent ski school in Riederalp and a good range of nursery slopes. The whole region is brought together with a ski pass covering all three resorts and the lift from the village. Riederalp is the sunniest resort in the country and faces south over the valley towards Italy so there is plenty of sun and loads of snow.
